Regular Work Meeting
On the afternoon of 14th September, the second-week regular work meeting for all the teaching and administrative staff from the Junior High Department of the west campus was held in the School Lecture Hall. The meeting was presided over by Principal Assistant Ling Qian.
At the meeting, Principal Assistant Ling Qian delivered a work report with the title of ‘Hold High the Banner of Learning and Bow as a Willing Ladder ’, which interpreted the basic working ideas of the Junior High Section in the west campus of the new semester and aimed to unify thinking and raise awareness. To be specific, the report consisted of four parts: school opening, situation analysis, executive force as well as education, teaching and research.
In the first place, Principal Assistant Ling Qian commended everyone for the steady and solid progress of education and teaching work at the beginning of the term. Also, he highly affirmed that the school routine work was carried out steadily and orderly.
In the second place, Principal Assistant Ling Qian conducted detailed analysis of the development situation of Anqing Foreign Language School’s Junior High Department from five dimensions in the perspective of the whole city, which made all the teaching and administrative staff feel the potential pressure and glorious mission so that they gained a new understanding of Anqing Foreign Language School’s development. On the other hand, Principal Assistant Ling Qian emphasized that stress was power and pressure called for action.
In the third place, Principal Assistant Ling Qian required the person responsible for each post to improve their abilities to perform duties. He mentioned that the evaluation of executive force should be taken as an important indicator for the post assessment, because executive power was both the intensive and core embodiment of a unit’s culture.
In the fourth place, teachers were supposed to stand firmly and well in the classroom, focus on teaching plans and teaching quality in addition to making efforts to transform the teaching of single knowledge points to the cultivation of discipline quality. Besides, the teaching and research activities should be fully prepared, well implemented and the participation initiative should be enhanced through the sense of gain.
